Superior Gutter and Roofing has grown from a small gutter installation company into a thriving home services business, built on expertise, dedication, and a commitment to putting customers first.

Our Story

Superior Gutter and Roofing began in 2016 as Superior Gutter Company, founded by James Maggard in Nampa, Idaho. Initially, the company focused on providing gutter installation for new construction homes, working primarily as a contractor in the Treasure Valley.

Soon thereafter, three young entrepreneurs—brothers Jordan Lee and Braydon Lee, along with their childhood friend Jordan Thompson—were looking for a business they could grow while helping homeowners with real problems.

With experience in building and scaling businesses they saw an opportunity to expand Superior Gutter Company into something greater. They acquired the company, with Jordan Lee stepping in to oversee daily operations.

Expanding to Roofing Services

Shortly after taking over the business, the team met Ryan Carlen, an expert in roofing and insurance services with nearly a decade of experience. Seeing a natural fit, they partnered with Ryan to expand Superior Gutter into a full-service roofing company, officially launching the roofing division.

A Growing Family Business

What started as a single-service operation has now become a family-run business, with Paxton Lee and Stace Lee joining from the Lee side, and Josh Thompson and Jasmine Thompson contributing their expertise in marketing and business growth.

Through a customer-first approach, Superior Gutter and Roofing has continued to expand, recently adding a second location in downtown Boise. With a focus on quality, reliability, and top-tier service, the company is rapidly growing while maintaining its commitment to providing the best gutter and roofing solutions in Idaho.
